This is generally not the style of ring I would purchase (not contemporary enough for my usual taste), but the moment I saw it, I knew I had to have it. Irrational, yes, but who said buying jewelry is a rational process???
I have large hands, and I prefer larger rings to wear on my right hand. This ring is billed as an “engagement ring,” but I don’t see how it could be, since it would not nestle nicely with a typical wedding band. No matter. I wasn’t planning to wear it with my wedding band, anyway.
My only “knock” is that I expected the ring to be weightier. But that definitely was not a deal-breaker.
